Alexandra Canetti, MD, is a board-certified child and adolescent and adult psychiatrist with an interest in community psychiatry and family issues. She currently serves as the Program Medical Director at the NewYork-Presbyterian Special Needs and School-Based Mental Health clinics. At the ColumbiaDoctors—Tarrytown faculty practice, Dr. Canetti works with children, teens, young adults, and adults affected by anxiety, ADHD, depression and other mood disorders, as well as psychosomatic disorders. She also provides medication consultation and management services. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico.
Jennifer Cruz, Ph.D., is the supervising psychologist at the Special Needs Clinic and for integrated services within NYP-MSCH child & adolescent mental health. A clinical psychologist with a deep and varied practice, Dr. Cruz provides psychotherapy, as well as neuropsychological testing and evaluation, to individuals, families, and groups of all ages. Dr. Cruz's practice focuses on providing holistic and tailored psychological treatment to children and families affected by chronic illness. She specializes in employment of empirically-based treatment for her patients, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, cognitive remediation therapy, and dialetical behavioral therapy.
